Yann Martel’s Life of Pi is a transformative novel, a dazzling work of imagination that will
delight and astound readers in equal measure. It is a triumph of storytelling and a tale that will, as one character
puts it, make you believe in God.
Are jealous of these people, cosy in a bookshop listening, rapt, to a wonderful writer? http://t.co/ofDVyyaXxp. NO NEED! That could be you. 1 day ago
We're very much enjoying all the Ben Fountain excitement brewing online. And luckily for *you*, he's here next week: http://t.co/nb9gwsJoaS. 1 day ago

I loved the idea that the tiger was the tiger inside Pi and that was what helped him to survive. When the tiger disappeared into the forest it was because Pi was safe and no longer needed that side of himself. It shows how strong the human spirit can be when pushed to extremes.
